A QUICK BUT IMPORTANT NOTE

Security starts with knowing what not to share.

This is an independent educational guide, not an official Trezor page. Use the official trezor.io website for downloads and device setup.

Nobody should ask you to enter or share your recovery seed or private keys. Trezor support will never need them. Your recovery backup is the key to your wallet—keep it offline, private, and out of photos, cloud storage, and messages.

Connect and set up your device

Receive crypto to your wallet

STEP 04

When setup is complete, choose the asset in Suite and use its receive flow to create a receiving address. Verify the address on your device before sharing it.

For a first transfer, consider sending a small test amount. Make sure the sending and receiving networks match.

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO REMEMBER

Your recovery backup is not a password.

It can restore access to your wallet. Anyone who gets it could take your funds. Store it securely offline, and never enter it anywhere except on your Trezor device when the device itself instructs you to.
